Finally, our new little kitten has a name. “Sister Fidelma” is what Mary and I agreed upon. I had just finished reading “Absolution by Murder” by Peter Tremayne and got the idea from that book. Sister Fidelma is the main character there, a 7th century nun who goes about solving murders, a “brilliant and beguiling heroine” and sharp-witted at that. I kind of stole the idea of naming a kitten after reading a book from Mary, who had come up with “Mr. Pickwick” after she had read “The Pickwick Papers” by Charles Dickens when we got our previous little one.
