Yesterday we spent nearly the whole day in San Antonio, on various errands [Mary had a doctor’s appointment, and we did a lot of shopping in different stores – ranging from buying a Longhorns Shirt for me so that I can dress in style at today’s game of the UT Longhorns vs. Wisconsin in Austin, to buying more wood to complete the interior of our new garage to selecting wedding-presents for the daughter of one of Mary’s former colleagues]. And it was there, at Bed, Bath & Beyond, when Mary was selecting and ordering wedding-presents, that I found a nice set of 4 different beer glasses, for different kinds of beers and couldn’t resist buying them. And after that, of course, I just went across the parking-lot there, to Whole Foods, and got my self some different beers. Here’s the result of my “buying-spree” 😉 :
Even if the labels can be read, let me repeat here what beers they are, from left to right: Warsteiner dunkel, Samuel Smith’s Imperial Stout, Shiner Octoberfest, Paulaner Hefeweizen, und Warsteiner Pils. After the glasses have been cleaned and the beer cooled, I’ll start the tasting and will post my experiences.
