Legends of Las Vegas …

.. was the show we went to last night at the Harlequin Dinner Theatre on the grounds of Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio. For more about the theatre, see my posting “Agatha Christie’s ‘Mousetrap'”.

Last night’s show was a musical one, presenting quite a few well known songs from famous American entertainers [Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin, e.g.] who – at some time – appeared on stage in Las Vegas, songs such as “I’ve got you under my skin“, “Dankeschoen“, or Mack the Knife“, to name but a few. As usual, we enjoyed the lively performances of the singers/dancers [Seely Stephens, Michel Berlet, Shawn Kjos and Kylee Skye Lynn, under the direction of Missy Miller] again as well as the food.

Last night’s food was, btw:

  • fresh salad and soup [chicken & veggies] bar
  • chicken breast with dressing, barron of beef, or baked Pollack fish
  • butttered green beans
  • herbed rice pilaw or roasted red potatoes
  • dinner rolls and butter
  • assorted desserts
