With the warm weather and the good rain earlier this year, spring flowers have really exploded – a few pictures from our property:

Very pretty Pit. Its a lucky man who lives like that.
Hi Mike,
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
I agree: I really consider myself lucky, to have met my wife, Mary, late in my life and being happy here with her.
Best regards, and enjoy the weekend,
Pit
What absolutely gorgeous scenery and photos! You live in a very beautiful area!
Hi Betty,
Thanks for the praise! 🙂 Well, this area here CAN be beautiful, especially in spring. But last yedar’s summer, with the extreme drought, was quite a different matter. As said in my answer to your other comment: I’d like the Hill Country more. But I’m happy here, too.
Best regards,
Pit
The same goes here, more rain, more beautiful blossoming and flowers to see. Sure were some beautiful photos!
Hi Betty,
Glad you have beautiful flowers up there, too. And thx for the opraise of the photis.
Take care,
Pit
This looks beautiful! I agree… morning coffee plus this view would be amazing.
Hi Sabrina,
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Morning coffe, evening beer – whatever will be fine there. Well, the views will be nicer once the fracking across the highway will be done and over with. But we even so like sitting there.
Best regards,
Pit
Did you buy a couple hundred pounds of wildflower seeds and plant them. (We’ve a garden store here in town which has them, suitable for our region.) It must be great to sit on your porch with a cup of coffee in the morning and just stare at them.
Cheers.
Hi Randall,
No need to buy wildflower seeds around here. They’re always there in the soil. It only needs a good rainy winter for them to come out that nicely in spring. And yes, it’s lovely to sit on that glider with a cup of coffee, or a beer, at that, and watch the flowers. Well, it’ll be even nicer once the fracking across the highway will be over and done with.
Best regards,
Pit
